Inkbomb convention in S.Korea

3rd Tattoo convention in Korea 'Inkbomb'

Tattoo artist Gong_ink (we introduced him before) participated in the convention as Wildrose tattoo!

I went the first day. Because of the weather I thought people wouldn't come but just when I arrived inside was a bunch of people

enjoying the party. Artist from U.S,Japan,South Korea participated the convention.

We were able to see the tattoo work in live and if you registered we could get tattoo from these famous artists.

The first photo with the yellow t-shirt he was Sabado a famous tattoo artist from Japan. Everybody was watching him

working on his tattoo. It was very impressive to see how calm and gentle he works. Even the noise of the machine was different.

Live bands, amazing art work,funky hair style...a new culture is making a scene in S.Korea.

The convention is opened every year so if u haven't make it this year next year is your chance.

Hoping tattoo will be understood as art in S.Korea

The Super Sketch series is a hookup between artists and musicians organized by SUPER C۞L۞R SUPER. Every event brings the artists, the bands, the audience and the party together through the prism of a special concept or theme.

...Super Sketch’s first features live drawing, art, shadow theater, and psychedelic visuals performed on vintage overhead projectors. All work will be performed and shown through completely-analog, hands-on means. Artists and designers will also present their work in an art market inside the party. California thunderer/shredders Zach Hill w/ Carson McWhirter, will headline.

Sacramento-conceived, Portland-transported math pop phenoms What's Up? are Teddy Briggs (Drums/Keyboards ), Brian Pasos (Bass), and polymorphic instrumentalist Robby Moncrieff, of The Advantage and Marnie Stern. The trio, scheduled for their Korean debut this April by way of SUPERC۞L۞RSUPER Concerts, are most noted for their abstract melodic compositions on complex progressive, art/math rock constructions; producing some of the most playful harmonies atop an intricate, densely arhythmic and highly original musical script. The do-or-die energetic performances gained them a spot on Obey Your Brain Records early last year alongside Man Man and Beirut, and earned them full tours with indie greats The Dirty Projectors, and Deerhoof as well as shows with Mono, Tune-yards and Animal Collective.

Also joinin’ to support an ambitious beat-based record Combed Over Chrome EP (Obstructive Vibrations) is Raleigh Moncrief; an artist that grows more expansive and ambiguous with each successive track. The tracks are a trans-genred collage of experimental noise-ghetto beats and glitchstep. All tracks feature heavy bass beats and glittering synth arpeggios and samples from the Dirty Projectors, who Raleigh recorded Bitte Orca for.
